FORKLIFT PROTECTION

Reinforced Leading Edge

To protect the edge of the pallet from forklift damage, ER-Series pallets have 8 metres of continuous robotic dual laser welding creating a monolithic steel profile to absorb impact.

The pallet comes in three versions of varying load capacity and impact protection, the heavier duty pallets are designed for pallet pooling operations and the lighter versions are more suitable for closed-loop automated warehouses.

ANTI-SLIP FEATURES

Metal and plastic pallets suffer from extremely low coefficients of friction, causing issues with payload, forklift, pallet-on-floor and pallet-on-pallet slippage. The Ecolite pallet solves these issues with modular anti-slip features which can be tailored to customer requirements:

PAYLOAD SLIPPAGE

Every Load Lock Washer, has an extrusion-bonded anti-slip ECE layer which prevents movement of the payload. In addition, anti-slip Load Lock Plugs with the ECE layer can be added in any number and pattern as required.

FLOOR / PALLET-ON-PALLET

Sure Foot Pads on the underside of each leg create a high friction interface with the floor and prevent damage to floor surface. When stacked they prevent pallet-on-pallet slippage.


ASRS – These pads also prevent slippage on chain and conveyor drives in automated warehouses.

FORKLIFT SLIPPAGE

Extended Tine Lock Plugs with an extrusion-bonded anti-slip ECE layer are placed around the underside of the steel panel to interact with forklift tines and prevent slippage.

Maintenance / Repair

Replacing Damaged Components

The blocks are bolted to the top panel and skids with high tensile M6 bolts, allowing easy replacement of damaged parts.

Racking

The ER-Series pallet is superior to wood and plastic pallets in warehousing systems for the following reasons:

Unlike wooden pallets, the ER-Series does not chip, flake, or produce dust.
The ER Light pallet with plastic skids is particularly well suited to automated warehousing systems due to its rigidity and light weight (1200 x 800mm x 145mm – 18kg).
